Abstract (EN)

As technology progresses, the objects we use get smarter and focus more on daily life and problems. During the Kovid19 pandemic process, the mandatory curfews that have taken place in Turkey since March 2020 and the widespread distance education and working model have affected our lives in different ways. During this period, social environments were avoided due to restrictions and individual working environments became widespread with the increase in video conferencing applications. The mood of people who have to work in isolated environments during the pandemic period may vary. In this period, it is important to design objects that can have a positive effect on people. Smart mirrors are useful objects that can detect negative emotions experienced during the pandemic process, increase the motivation of people, and offer the opportunity to be used in all kinds of places by using the internet of things technology. Aiming to reduce the negative effects of the pandemic process on people's emotions, Arya, The Smart Mirror Software, aims to give them simple, understandable information with its different modules that label people's feelings and aim to give them positive suggestions, providing a short chat environment. In this context, within the scope of this thesis, a mirror software is presented to share the news texts about the corona virus by responding / answering simple commands / questions with the voice recognition module, after detecting the emotional states of the people with the use of convolutional neural network.
