Abstract (EN)
Folk tales are an important branch of our folk culture and are an extension of the oldest extant epic tradition. Folk tale issues are generally the life of love heroes and adventure. Folk songs and narration of stories are intertwined. Issues of some folk tales are completely lyrical products dependent on love. Others, epic tales outweighing heroism such as Dede Korkut and Köroğlu. Kars city is an important region in terms of minstrels and minstrelsy radition. Günay Yıldız is successfully maintaining today's folk tale and minstrelsy tradition taken from his father Murat Karahan Yıldız. In this thesis, we have examined the common motif structure of "Çoban Mirzehan Hikâyesi, Avcı Mustafa ile Şahnizer Sultan Hikâyesi ve Yetim Abdullah Hikâyeleri" with other folk tales. In our study; Gunay has used classification with the song and narrative as intertwined. In this introduction, general characteristics of folk literature, history, the concept of motive; folktale definition, characteristics, classification and analysis methods will be discussed. Gunay Yıldız family environment, the growing media, childhood, youth and educational life will be discussed. Gunay Yıldız tales "Çoban Mirzehan Hikâyesi, Avcı Mustafa ile Şahnizer Sultan Hikâyesi ve Yetim Abdullah ile Selvinaz Sultan Hikâyesi" episodes and motifs related to episodes investigated. Other tales analyzed according to the headings such as birth and family of heroes, to be in love with the hero, a trip out to find their beloved heroes, elements and people blocking heroes, help the heroes, and conversations and results. These tales are: Yaralı Mahmut, Latif Şah, Kirmanşah, Eşref Bey, Salman Bey ve Turnatel Hanım, Sevdakar Şah ile Gülenaz Sultan, Adil Şah, Melikşah ve Güllü Han, Nedim Şah, Varaka ile Gülşah, Bey Böyrek, Hurşit ile Mahımihri, Şah İsmail, Derdiyok ile Zülfisiyah, Elif ile Mahmut, Ülfetin, Arzu ile Kanber, Asuman ile Zeycan, Âşık Garip, Tufarganlı Âşık Abbas ile Gülgez Peri Hikâyesi, Ercişli Emrah ile Selvihan, Kerem ile Aslı, Tahir ile Zühre, Ali İzzet, Karacaoğlan, , Gül ile Âşık Şir, Kaçak Nebi, Hatem-i Tai, Ebalı Sinan Ebilharis, Ferhat ile Şirin, Leyla ile Mecnun, Yusuf ile Züleyha, Zaloğlu Rüstem, Hikâye-yi Mahmut Gaznevi, Razınihan ile Mahfiruze. The common motifs of Yıldız written 3 tales (Çoban Mirzehan, Avcı Mustafa ile Şahnizer Sultan ve Yetim Abdullah ile Selvinaz Sultan Hikâyeleri) and other tales were found as shepherds, hunting, marriage, marriage customs, fall in love, fall in love at first sight, love sickness, rich men, magic, dreams, drinking bade love in a dream world, deputy dervish, giving a name to child, change of luck and fate, assistant (old) woman, assistant (elderly) people, fooled by fraud, deception by fraud, prayer, formalistic numbers, the expression of feelings with poetry, divine minstrels, father mother and son and several fraternities, imprisoning (punishment), Pir (patriarch), Hızır (vice holy man), thieves, going abroad to find the love, explaining the things happened, the wedding ceremony and horse. Of these, dream, bade drinking, love, be in love at first sight, going abroad and return to find the loved one, thieves, pir, dervish, putting children name and wedding (forty days and forty nights) motifs were commonly come across in all stories.
