Literature is the art branch that done verbally and its whole material is language. The expression possibility and circle of literature is so wide. Asik Nejdet KUYUMCU who continues the minstrelsy tradition is examined in this study. Because of Asik Nejdet KUYUMCU is inside of minstrelsy literature and minstrelsy tradition, substantial information has given about this kind of literature and tradition. It is tried to tell here the historical process and interaction of minstrelsy literature and minstrelsy tradition. Asik Nejdet Kuyumcu from Kars tried to be introduced with his literal being and his life. The causes of learning minstrelsy tradition and ways and routines are studied from the point of Turkish culture having an important role and needs great effort and sacrifice. The works he told by his own minstrelsy, his knowledge and learning are compiled. The terms which belong to this tradition are explained by taking information from him. The terms about encountering which is again one of the majors of the tradition are explained. The encountering examples which are sang with instrument and improvised compiled in the place.
