Abstract (EN)
This thesis focuses on the topology optimization of engine and chassis protection barriers used in military vehicles. The results obtained through different design options and collision analyses aim to strike a balance between the mechanical durability and lightweight of barriers using topology methodology. The optimization process meticulously evaluates the impact of various design parameters on barrier performance, highlighting the significant benefits of topology optimization in the design of military vehicle protection systems. Supported by experimental data and simulation results, the thesis provides design guidelines for practical implementation and underscores the potential for developing new and improved protection systems within the defense industry.
