Military courage: An integrative literature review

In this master's thesis on Military Courage, the studies conducted on this subject from the past to the present have been analyzed and evaluated through an integrative literature review. The themes emerging from the review have been evaluated through the discussion method, the subject of military courage has been addressed in an integrative manner; propositions and conceptual frameworks have been created that will contribute to the development of states and armies in terms of military courage. The studies conducted in the past on the concept of military courage have been compiled; analyzed, synthesized and evaluated with an integrative method. This thesis has undertaken a guiding function for future studies by emphasizing the missing and unaddressed points in the studies conducted in the field of military courage in the past. In this thesis, a literature review has been conducted on military courage in the literature; it has been determined that there are not enough works in the literature on this subject and that they have not been studied; the most suitable 58 works were found in the searches made in English sources; 31 works were included in the scope after the inclusion and exclusion applications. The concept of military courage has been addressed professionally; it is evaluated that it will contribute significantly to practitioners and literature.
