Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effects of finishing treatments on the performance properties of military training clothing made from 85%cotton-15%polyester were investigated for this aim, military training clothing was produced with the same yarn and fabric properties and prefnishing processes were applied in the same conditions. Afterwards, seven different combinations of finishing, as antibacterial, oil and water-repellency finishes, were applied to these samples. For determining the effects of these finishing treatments on the sample fabrics, some physical (breaking strength, tear strenght, abrasion resistance and air permeability) and chemical (colour fastness to domestic and commercial laundering, perspiration, rubbing, hot pressing and artifical weathering) analysis were carried out. The data of the analysis were statisticaly evaluated and interpreted by using SPSS programme.
