Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out at İkizce Research and Application Farm of Ankara Field Crops Central Research Institute in the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 growing seasons. In the research, 7 different fertilizers combinations (DAP+UREA, Solid Vermicompost (KSG)+UREA, DAP+Liquid Worm Fertilizer (SSG), KSG+SSG, Only KSG, Only SSG and Fertilizer-Free control) were used. The effects of these applications on yield and quality of safflower and wheat plants were investigated. The trial was established according to a randomized block design with 3 replications. As a result of the research, the highest yield was obtained from DAP+UREA application with 368 kg/da and the lowest yield was obtained from the control application Fertilizer-Free with 277 kg/da. It was determined that there were significant effects of DAP+UREA and KSG+UREA applications on wheat quality. The highest values were found to be 14.6% and Alveograph W energy values were between 173.5 and 173.8 joules in DAP+UREA and KSG+UREA applications. In safflower, the highest seed yield was obtained from the DAP+UREA application with 363 kg/da, and the lowest value was obtained from the control application Fertilizer-Free with 278 kg/da. Depending on the oil content, the highest oil yield was obtained from DAP+UREA application with 131.5 kg/da. It was determined that the KSG+UREA application provided earliness of 2 days at the flowering time of the safflower and 4 days at the ripening time. As a result, in terms of yield and quality of wheat and safflower, cultivation with KSG+UREA application, one of the vermicompost applications, can be recommended. In terms of sustainable agriculture, it can be said that long-term solid and liquid worm fertilizer applications improve the soil structure and increase the plant nutrient content.
