Abstract (EN)

After the establishment of the Republic of Turkey, Aydın Province played a significant role in general elections. These elections influenced the political, social, and economic structure of Aydın, shaping the region's role in the construction of the Republic. Aydın deputies who served during the establishment and construction process of the Republic assumed important roles. The deputies from Aydın during this period were individuals with visions aimed at laying the foundations of modern Turkey. They engaged in various activities in Turkey's social, cultural, economic, and political spheres. They supported education reforms and took significant steps in the healthcare sector. Among the Aydın deputies were individuals who held important ministerial positions. During Atatürk's era, Aydın deputies also played significant roles in Turkey's domestic and foreign policies. During this period, an active policy was pursued in international relations, strengthening Turkey's position on the international stage. The prepared thesis consists of a total of five sections. In the first section, information is provided about general elections in Turkey, while the second, third, fourth, and fifth sections examine the biographies and activities of Aydın deputies.
