Examination of the suitability of facility location selection in horse breeding businesses

Choosing a facility location in horse racing enterprises is a critical decision for the continuity and future of the enterprise that should be taken by working with experts in their field. In addition to meeting their own needs where they are established, these facilities should also be able to meet the needs of the era in which they are in order to reach national and international standards and achieve the desired success. In addition, the maximum efficiency of these enterprises from the work they will do depends on the using their available resources with the most appropriate place, time and team. The main purpose of this study is to contributing socially, culturally and economically to investors and entrepreneurs who plan to establish a horse breeding business in our country, to the determining the points that should pay attention when choosing a facility location and to guide them in the process of establishing a facility at international standards. In this way, we aim to increase the number of facilities that have reached certain standards, to contribute to the employment, and to undertake the role of guidance in the preparation of the necessary infrastructure for the facilities to carry out cultural promotion and to train athletes at the international level. The fact that the addressed topic that has not been studied before will show its positive reflections in the literature in a short time with the completion of the study. In our study, stages and principles of establishment location selection, factors affecting establishment location selection in horse racing enterprises will be examined and formulas of how horse racing facilities can be more advantageous in terms of time, space and costs as of their establishment will be included. Known as an economically costly sector, horse breeding, together with this study, is considered to take place in our lives with facilities that are both less costly and easily accessible to individuals of all ages and segments. It will be explained with examples within the scope of the study that it is possible to ensure that the facilities work much more efficiently with personnel and time savings by using today's technologies, to provide services in more than one branch under the same facility, and to make profit in a short time by amortizing their establishment costs.
