Abstract (EN)

In this study, neutralized waste cooking oil was obtained from the neutralization process was applied to waste cooking oil and the physical properties of waste cooking and neutralized waste cooking oils were determined. The waste cooking oil methyl ester (WCOME) and the neutralized waste cooking oil methyl ester (NWCOME) production were realized from these oils by transesterification method. B20 (20% WCOME+80% Euro diesel), B2 (2% WCOME+98% Euro diesel), B20N (20% NWCOME+80% Euro diesel) and B2N (2% NWCOME+%98 Euro diesel) were obtained in these forms from blending these obtaining biodiesel with volumetric ratio of 20% and 2% of Euro diesel and the fuel properties of all these fuels were determined. The obtaining fuels were compared with diesel fuel were performed in diesel engine which is one cylinder, 12 HP, Antor 3LD410 brand and moment, power, specific fuel consumption, CO, CO2, HC, NO and smoke intensity were investigated. The results of the present study the physical properties, engine performances values when using in diesel engine of WCOME, NWCOME and blending fuels showed similar property with standard diesel fuel. With regard to maximum moment, while the highest value was obtained about 33.14 Nm at 1400 1/min with Euro diesel fuel, the value was observed about 32.01 Nm at 1100 1/min with B100 fuel, 32.64Nm at 1400 1/min with B20 fuel, 32.83Nm at 1400 1/min with B2 fuel and the value was observed about 32.60 Nm at 1400 1/min with B100N fuel, 32.70 Nm at 1400 1/min with B20N fuel, 33.03 Nm at 1400 1/min with B2N fuel. The highest maximum power value was recorded as 8.10 kW at 2900 1/min with Euro diesel fuel, the value was observed about 7.38 kW at 2800 1/min with B100 fuel, 7.58 kW at 2800 1/min with B20 fuel, 7.69 kW at 2800 1/min with B2 fuel and the value was observed about 7.58 kW at 2700 1/min with B100N fuel, 7.67 kW at 2700 1/min with B20N fuel, 7.82 kW at 2800 1/min with B2N fuel. When the minimum specific fuel consumptions were investigated, the lowest value was measured as183.35 g/kWh at 1000 1/min with Euro diesel, 296.61 g/kWh at 2200 1/min with B100 fuel, 228.16 g/kWh at 1000 1/min with B20 fuel, 190.29 g/kWh at 1000 1/min with B2 fuel and 317.15 g/kWh at 2300 1/min with B100N fuel, 276.43 g/kWh at 2400 1/min with B20N fuel, 207.04 g/kWh at 1000 1/min with B2N fuel. The emission values were showed increasing and decreasing at some number of revolutions with all of the fuel with respect to diesel.
