The political future of European Union

Keywords: European Union, integration, convention, constitution European Union (EU) is a supranational organization which is continuously changing, developing, raising its effects and importance overall the world day by day. European Union has been trying to getting the enlargement and deepening processes gone on together as parallel to this changing and development in our time. In this direction, in recent years, activities concerned to political future of EU rapidly developed in this period that the debates related to how the political construction of EU would be, the most major issue is EU Constitution. Although there has not jüst been an agreement on it, Constitution is very important development from the point of view of political integration. The problems of EU have been examined in a detailed way and the suggestions for these issues has been mentioned in this study. Also the new developments after the constitution and the effects of them to the Union have been examined. In addition to this the preliminary study of European Union Constitution has been mentioned within commnets and the last developments related to it. VI
