Abstract (EN)
In this study, the free movement of capital, which is one of the four freedoms of movement in European Union, is examined principally in light of relevant provisions of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union and decisions of the Court of Justice of the European Union. The provisions which were taking place in the first version of the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community and regulating the free movement of capital are written in a more flexible manner than the other provisions regulating freedom of movement. As a result, the free movement of capital was actualized later than the other freedoms of movement.Today these provisions are given place in 63-66.
