The structure and formation Process of the European Court of First Instance

This dessertation has been prepared by Lisbon Treaty, a part of European Union?s Justice System, to examine the structure and formation process of European Court of First Instance, which was changed as ?General Court?. In that aspect, in the first section of the dissertation; The structure and formation of European Court of Justice and European Court of First Instance, the situation of EU Justice System, after Lisbon Treaty, have been analysed by charts and graphics, together with the function justice jurisdiction, method and the appeals against the ECFI?s verdicts which is mentioned in the second section of disseration.ECFI, which was established by Council decision, in October 24th, 1988 and started to its function, has been changed significantly by Nice and Lisbon Treaties and, this amendments are repercussions of adaptation of EU to catch up the changing conditions of the time. Speeding up the judgement and decision process seems to be possible, remodifying the structure of current court system which consists of judge (by one judge) from each member countries. In Europe, agreed as contemporary civilisation, by lots of countries, beyond Turkey, this changes can be seen as quite reasonable, if not mandatory, because of the increasing workload of EU Justice System, gradually in quantity or intensity.
