Abstract (EN)
When we look at the recent history of our developing and constantly changing world, it is seen that it has faced many environmental problems. In the face of this situation, which has become a global problem, combating many agenda items such as climate change, global warming, greenhouse gas emissions constitute the basic and indispensable building blocks of a livable world. In this context, it has been inevitable to take part in an active struggle especially since the 1990s, and many studies have been carried out under the leadership of the European Union. The European Union Green Deal, which is one of the basic road maps in the field of climate and environmental challenges, has also taken a pioneering position in order to take concrete steps. One of the sustainable environmental policies of the EU Green Deal is the reduction of Endocrine Disrupting Substances in water resources. When this topic, which attracts attention within the scope of special targets for wastewater resources, is examined, it is aimed to remove endocrine disrupting pollutants with high efficiency and removal methods are examined. There is no doubt that water use and related wastewater formation occur in the process of transition from raw material form to product form in the process of increasing population, growing industrialisation and accordingly supply-demand relationship. With the developing technology, wastewater treatment plants can enable many situations such as irrigation water, reuse in the process and discharge to the receiving environment depending on the characteristics of the wastewater. In particular, the production wastewater generated from the process of industrial enterprises undergoes a treatment process in order to meet the discharge standards before being discharged to the receiving environment within the scope of the legislation to which it is subject. The qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the wastewater generated as a result of production may vary greatly due to the different production types, quantities and technological methods applied in the industrial area to which endocrine disrupting pollutants are related. For this reason, in determining the technologies developed for some measures taken in order to prevent water pollution and presenting alternatives, treatment methods have been examined separately.
