Abstract (EN)

In this research, it was aimed that the determination effects of water applications at different physiological growth stages by drip irrigation on sunflower yield and yield components, and to be revealed the most effective irrigation stages for seed oil yield. The study research was conducted. in the field belonging to Tekirdağ Viticulture Research Institute, Tekirdağ, Turkey during 2022 sunflower growing season. PIONEER P64LP130 hybrid variety that is commercially important in the Thrace Region was used as seed material. The trial was established according to Randomized Blocks Design with four replications. Research subjects were eleven applications including non-irrigation (control), V10, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8, and full irrigation (V10+ R1+R2+ R3+ R4+ R5+ R6+ R7+R8). In the results; it was determined that grain yield, oil yield, seed oil content, seed shelling ratio, head diameter, stem diameter, number of grains per head, grain width, thousand grains weight and plant height were statistically significant for research subjects. Seed yields, seed oil content and oil yields ranged between 220.350 kg and 316.925 kg, between 41.600 % and 46.125 %, and between 101.634 kg and 143.169 kg; respectively. The highest oil yield was observed in full irrigation. The irrigation at R1 gave the second highest oil yield with 132.237 kg/da. The lowest oil yield was in non-irrigated (control) subject. Compared to the non-irrigated control, full irrigation increased the oil yield by 40.87%, and R1 irrigation increased the oil yield by 30.12%.
