Abstract (EN)
During the design of lighting systems, an aging estimation is performed due to the reductions in the course of time caused by environmental impacts and nature of the material. The aim in this regard is to ensure the performance continuity during the operation period of the constructed infrastructure by compensating the possible losses that can be observed in time. The maintenance coefficient determination methods decided by the international authorities generally focus on recoverable impacts. The effects such as Luminary Maintenance Factor (LMF), Lamp Survival Factor (LSF) and Lamp Lumen Maintenance Factor (LLMF) that are provided by certain generalizations can result in dramatic differences within the production and product diversity of today. Apart from generalization; the recoverable effects such as LSF, LLMF and Luminary Maintenance Factor (LMF) can differ related to many parameters beyond product and technology diversity. Even this known deficiency is also mentioned within standards, there is any solution offer for on which method can be used to deal with it. Moreover; as it was observed that even recoverable effects during operating such as LMF include a portion of irreversible reductions, the necessity of re-evaluation of assessments on this topic in a more detailed way occurred. Towards the industrial researches and experimental studies, the parameters affecting LSF and LLMF characteristics and resource identity file is provided including the characteristics related such impacts. Beyond the recoverable impacts that are more strongly evaluated by currently existing maintenance coefficient determination methods, other reductions that can be grouped as irreversible impacts can also occur. The variations in lighting output of the source that are considered to be related to factors such as the auxiliary components, temperature and production tolerances are at a non-negligible levels. Due to this, it is required to integrate these impacts within calculation procedures. Through the experimental studies and industrial researches realized within the concept of the thesis, the points that irreversible factors were observed are discussed. The findings at these points are characterized within the resource identity file that is provided to insert into the computational algorithm. Most of these impacts vary related to auxiliary components used within the luminaire structures and the thermal specification of luminaire. It is provided to associate to luminaire photometric file some additions that will not influence negatively the operability of the eulumdat (LDT) file format where the photometric characteristics are defined and characteristic tendencies derived in this duration. Thus, a new calculation algorithm/approach is provided that includes the characteristic specifications of two components as lighting source and luminaire and takes the identity files as reference. Here they are lighting source identity file that will be defined as LIF and LDT+ luminaire identity files that are extended versions of LDT file format. With the approach developed during the thesis; as it can be modeled more clearly how a lighting infrastructure will perform in time related to the material and utilization, it is enabled to apply modern adaptive lighting techniques. The benefits that these approaches provide are discussed for sample enterprises in the relevant sections of the thesis. As the result of the study, an approach that models the aging tendency in time based on all the parameters whose impacts are evaluated within the thesis is developed instead of classical methods where maintenance coefficient is calculated as a constant. Key Words: Maintenance Coefficient, Capacity Reduction, Aging, Adaptive Maintenance/Lighting, Light Source.
