Abstract (EN)

Reception Aesthetics is a reader-centered literary theory. The reader is receptive in Reception Aesthetics. According to this theory, the main subject in revealing the meaning of the text is the reader. The work put forward by the author is left alone with the receptor after this point. The continuity of the liveliness of the work depends on the reader and the semantic depth in the text. The receiver makes the analysis and interpretation of the work according to his own world of mind. In this study, in which Ayla Kutlu's stories are examined according to the theory of Reception Aesthetics, it is aimed to reveal the powerful meaning in the stories and to fill the gaps as a result of the concretions made. The first part of the study, which is basically organized in three main sections, constitutes the theoretical framework. This section contains information explaining the Reception Aesthetics. In the second part, reception of nineteen stories of Ayla Kutlu was done. The stories of Ayla Kutlu, who wrote by taking woman problem to the center, were interpreted in this context. It is seen that the symbols and themes in the stories are shaped around women. Women are the protagonists in almost all of the stories. These women are mostly lonely, loveless, poor and hopeless women.In otherwords, these women are women who have been push edintoloneliness, lovelessness and despair by the people around them. In the result section the conclusions reached by starting from all the stories are mentioned. This section is the section where purchases made are summarized.
