Abstract (EN)
In this study level of heavy metal of Ayvalık saltern which is partaking İzmir-Çanakkale highway, determined by using Salicornia europaea L., Halimione portulacoides (L.) Aellen and Suaeda prostrata subsp. prostrata Pall. plants which are grown extensively here in terms of abundance-cover degree and their cultivation soil. The root, stem, leaves and cultivation soil of plant was formed material of this study. Sampling, were done 8 station which is determined on the soil dam is surrounding saltern. Through 12 months, samples regulary receipt from every station. The analysis level were seen below limit value. Heavy metal levels of S.europea plant are Pb 0.074-1.182 ppm, Zn 0.037-1.742 ppm, Cu 0.823-1.670 ppm, Cd 0.008-0.221 ppm, Ni 0.026-1.145 ppm. heavy metal levels of H.portulacoides, are Pb <0.001-0.977 ppm, Zn 0.099-1.650 ppm, Cu 0.003-0.925 ppm, Cd <0.001-0.102 ppm, Ni <0.001-0.855 ppm and heavy metal levels of S.prostrata subsp. prostrata are Pb <0.001-1.026 ppm, Zn 0.016-1.389 ppm, Cu 0.004-0.896 ppm, Cd <0.001-0.166 ppm ve Ni 0.006-0.809 ppm. Analysis were done by using Perkin Elmer Analyst 700 Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (FAAS) device. The most important reason of all analysis results below the limit value are dominant wind direction is north-east (from saltern to highway), along the salterns south hasn?t got any crossroads and signalization and near here is not industry and industrial facilities have pollutant feature. Therefore, this the facility produces a large ratio of salt used in food industry is very important for the protection of a clean location.Key Words: Ayvalık Saltern, Salicornia europaea, Halimione portulacoides, Suaeda prostrata subsp. prostrata, Heavy Metal, Pollutant.
