Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to determine whether the fathers' love levels affect their care levels. In addition, to determine the variables that affect the fathers' love and caring for their children. Descriptive scanning model was used in the research. The study group of the study consists of fathers with three to six-year-old children attending Independent State Kindergartens in the central district of Burdur province in the spring term of 2019-2020 academic year. The Parent-Child Questionnaire-Father Form (CBCS-F) and the Barnett Child Love Scale and the questionnaire prepared by the researcher were used. Data analysis was performed with SPSS 22 package program. Frequency, percentage, standard deviation, arithmetic mean, Mann Whitney U Test, Kruskal Wallis Test and Spearman Rank Order Korelasyon Katsayısı test were used to analyze the data. Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient was used for the reliability and validity studies of the scales. In addition to the relational screening model, qualitative method was also used to determine whether fathers' levels of interest in their children differ significantly according to various variables. It is important to determine the factors that affect the relationship between fathers' child loving levels and caring for their children and to create awareness. In addition, it is thought that it will provide support to educators who will work in this field. With the findings obtained in the study, fathers' level of loving children; fathers' level of engagement with their children while their marital status varied significantly depending on their spouse's education status and their answer to the question "Would your father have physical contact to show their love when you were a child?"; They differ significantly according to their education status and their answer to the question "Would your father have physical contact to show their love when you were a child?". The most preferred game type was house game and hide-and-seek. It was concluded that there was a positive and significant relationship between the level of child loving and the level of caring for the children of the fathers participating in the study. A positive relationship was found between fathers' level of loving children and their level of care for their children. In line with these results, suggestions for researchers were presented. In line with these results, suggestions were presented to the researchers.
