Abstract (EN)

Chagatay Turkish was used by all Eastern Turks in a wide area as a written language and was produced many works of literature from 15th century to 20th century. One of them is called "Baburnama" written by Indian's ruler Babur Shah. Baburnama contains memories of Babur Shah and is considered as one of the most beautiful prose of the Estern Turkish. As The work is the source of Turkish History and Culture, It is also tremendous source of Turkish language. The work is both prose and very rich in terms of content and style. Therefore, It is seen many phonologically and morphologically features in the work. From the research we did, It can be seen that Baburnama reflect pretty much phonetical and morphological features of Chagatay Turkish, which is used in a wide geography as long as 500 years.
