Relations of Azerbaijan with international organizations after post-independence period

In the 90's, the international arena witnessed many innovations. One of these innovations was the countries that declared their independence after the collapse of the Soviet Union. One of the 15 countries that declared its independence was the Republic of Azerbaijan. The country, which started a new beginning by declaring its independence in 1991, had to go through a difficult and unstable process in the first years. Later, thanks to the policy and strategy determined, its position at the regional and international level began to rise. Within the framework of Azerbaijan's newly constructed foreign policy, relations with international organizations were of great importance. Within the framework of its independence policy, Azerbaijan has established relations with global and regional organizations that have a say in the international system and has tried to develop these relations. In this thesis named "Relations of Azerbaijan with International Organizations after Post-Independence Period", Azerbaijan, which gained its independence after the dissolution of the Soviet Union, will examine the relations of Azerbaijan with international organizations, which have an important place in its foreign policy. The study will consist of four parts. In the first part, the understanding of international organizations will be discussed in a theoretical and conceptual framework. In the second part, relations with international organizations during the presidency of Azerbaijan will be included. In the third part, international organizations will be classified regionally and globally and relations with Azerbaijan will be mentioned. In the fourth section, which is the last section, the operational problems with international organizations will be discussed. The conclusion will take place as the last part of the study.
