Abstract (EN)
In this study, Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations were carried out to compare the technologies currently used to produce the semi-finished product (wire rod) required for copper wire production and to develop a new production method. The main purpose of the new method is to increase the production speed and energy efficiency without contact with oxygen. In this context, copper wire rod production was simulated by passing molten metal through a water-cooled heat exchanger for continuous production.
