Abstract (EN)

In this paper, mixed model assembly line balancing problem is discussed with neighborhood search method that utilized by Bukchin, Dar-El, Rubinovitz (2002).In addition, the application model that dealt is working in Just in Time (JIT). In the current situation, the U-positioned assembly line running with straight line logic is turned into two parallel lines. The task assignment of models that assigned to these lines is improved with MATLAB software by using neighborhood search method. The current situation and the best solution that is obtained by the MATLAB software were run with ARENA simulation. And the results obtained were compared.
