Evaluation of fisheries and service ships for occupational health and safety

This thesis was carried out with the aim of evaluating the Law of Occupational health and safety of fishermen and service ships with the regulation on 20 June 2012 and published in the Official Gazette No. 28339 on June 30, 2012 under the Occupational Health and Safety Law issued in 20.08.2013 / 28741 published in the Official Gazette on "Fishery Ships Health and Safety Measures" in the work on fishermen and service ships with occupational health and safety and for safety reasons. According to Article 3 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which was adopted on 10 December 1948 and adopted by our country on 6 April 1949, life, freedom and security of person is the right of every individual. According to Article 17 of the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey (1982), everyone has the right to live; protect and enhance the matarial and spiritual existence. According to the Law of occupational Health and Safety Numbered 6331, on occupational health and safety, employers are obliged to take and implement all kinds of measures specific to the work. For this reason, they are obliged to carry out or carry out risk assessment to determine the risks and risks associated with the work. In our country, the limited time for fishing in the industrial fishing season and the limited time for obtaining certain economic value may hinder compliance with occupational health and safety rules. In addition, due to factors such as reduced hunting time as a result of meteorological conditions, the occupational health and safety of the employees may be jeopardized. In this thesis, a total of 180 fishermen and service vessels between 10-29 meters, 96 units, 30-49 meters between 60 units and 50-99 meters between 24 ships were investigated. With this thesis, it is possible to reduce the risks of accidents and the safety of the work safety applications applied on the fishing vessels and the safety regulations related to the Health and Safety Measures in the Works carried out on the Fishing Vessels in accordance with the Law no. It aims. Plans to provide recommendations for the development of occupational health and safety in the fisheries sector. Considering that our country has a bad report on occupational accident statistics published every year, the importance of each measure to be taken increases.
