Abstract (EN)

In this study, occupational safety and ergonomic perceptions of the workers in the agricultural machinery manufacturing industry in Balıkesir province were determined. In this context, 305 employees were interviewed face-to-face with employees working in the agricultural machinery manufacturing sector in Balıkesir province, and the ergonomic and occupational health and safety perception levels of those working in the agricultural machinery manufacturing sector in Balıkesir province were determined with the obtained survey results. According to the results of the study, 67.87% of the employees who participated in the survey did not have a work accident (207 people), 32.13% had at least one work accident (98 people). Approximately 75% of the employees are workers, while the remaining 25% are technicians-technicians, engineers and managers. When the results are evaluated; It has been determined that the rate of work accidents increases due to the increase of the working period of the employees increased the workplaces. As a result, it was determined that as the perception level of the employees increased, they could evaluate the qualities they gained by taking precautions against accidents, complying with occupational health and safety rules, keeping up wit the developing technology and training..
