Print picture and graphic design relationship

Graphic art, in other words visual arts, means printing and reproduction. It includes visual and functional arrangements that created using materials such as letters, words or pictures, on a page or on a surface to be studied. Graphic design has begun with the existence of humanity and continued with the development of the industrial revolution. In this study, world-wide development of the printmaking and correspondingly development of the graphic desing are examined. The evolution of the printmaking art since its existence, developed techniques and methods, printmaking in current days and the innovations on the machines used in graphic desing technology are empasized. Historical development of the graphical desing products such as books, magazines, posters and game cards those are produced with the beginning of the printing and sharing of knowledge and thougth, has researched. In addition, the data obtained from documents and publications were processed by a multidimensional and systematic research method.
