Periodic inspection methods comparisons of pressure vessels

The uses of pressure vessels are comprehensive, they are designed to heat the rooms, large power plants, energy production units, small industries and apartments. These pressure vessels are defined in our legislation that they are operated apart from their general purpose, their internal pressure is higher than 0,5 bar but also working pressure does not exceed 30 Bar. They are designed to contain gases like nitrogen, air, etc and they are serially produced and pressure vessels which are not exposed to fire. The most important subject is to perform the periodic controls properly. The periodic controls are the examinations, experiments and test actions which are done in certain times by the authorized people using the appropriate methods. The purposes of this study are; operating the pressure vessels safely, defining the proper criteria in performing periodic controls and comparing the examination methods.
