Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out in 2022 in a plastic greenhouse in Akkapı of Seyhan district of Adana province. In the study, 10 variety candidates, including 3 hybrid and 7 standard capia peppers developed by Dünya Tohum A.Ş., were grown together with 2 commercially available hybrid peppers, ÇitaF1 and LaleF1 control varieties, as plant material. In the study, agronomic performances of varieties and genotypes were investigated. K.B.1 variety first flowering date (15.3 days), full flowering date (54.00 days), first harvest date (63.33 days), number of nodes (8.33 pieces), main stem diameter (15.43 mm), fruit weight (93.13 g), fruit It had the highest values in terms of length (27.16 cm), fruit diameter (53.37 mm), fruit rind thickness (3.97 mm), TSS (9.13%) and total yield (1833.14 g/plant). The genotype closest to the variety criteria was K.B.2, which received the highest values in terms of first flowering (17.00 days), main stem length (30.70 cm), fruit weight (89.16 g) and yield (1183.56 g/plant). K.B.12 had the lowest values in fruit weight (10.84 g), which is an important criterion, K.B.9 and K.B.7 genotypes had the lowest values in fruit number (17.00 units), and K.B.7 had the lowest values in fruit yield (203.33 g/plant).
