Abstract (EN)

For centuries, the traditional treatment methods of the korms and seeds of the species that fall into the genus Colchicum; It has been used against asthma, dysentery, rheumatism. In modern medicine, Colchicum tubers and seeds are used as a therapeutic active alkaloid source called colchicinoids. Colchicine is the main alkaloid derivative obtained from all species in Colchicum genus. In recent years, the existence of different colors, different forms with single or multiple flower structures highlight the use of bitter crocus as an ornamental plant, but the new discovery of species delays cultivation development. 6 different protocols with different concentrations and combinations including NAA, 2,4-D and 2-iP were tried to obtain embryogenic structures. Embryogenic structure was observed in all of these protocols. The highest embryogenic structure rate was observed in environments containing 2,4-D and 2-iP. The embryogenic structures obtained were observed under the microscope and the differences in the stages of development were examined. Apart from embryogenic structure formation, vegetation formation was also observed in the study.
