Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the use of chloride-doped polypyrrole as a new adsorbent was studied for the precondensation of copper, lead, nickel and zinc by solid phase extraction before the determination by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The newly used adsorbent showed high selectivity to calmagite ligand at pH 6.5. Copper, lead, nickel and zinc were retained with calmagite on a 0.5 g PPyCl column and eluted quantitatively with 10 mL of 1 M HNO3. The developed method was applied to the determinations of copper, nickel, lead and zinc in the water of Keloğlan Cave, Kaklık Cave and Beşoluk spring water.
