Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, the changes in bandwidth and surface conductivity of thin films made from Polithiophene based P3HT, P3OT and F8T2 conductive polymers were investigated depending on coating rate, coating duration and concentration parameters. The solution prepared with used polymers concentration of 5 mg/mL and 10 mg/mL was deposited on the glass substrate using spin coating technique at coating rates of 1800 rpm and 3600 rpm. The values of 20 s, 40 s and 60 s were chosen as coating duration of thin film polymers. Band gap values of the thin film polymers were derived from the absorption plots obtained by UV-vis Spectrophotometry measurements. Surface morphology of the studied thin film polymers was analyzed with Atomic Force Microscope, and it was concluded that better surface is obtained for thin films prepared with used polymers of 10 mg/mL. Results show that surface conductivity of prepared conductive thin film polymers obtained by four-point probe measurement technique decreases with increasing concentration.Key Words: Conductive polymer, bandwidth, surface conductivity, thin film.
