Abstract (EN)

In parallel with the impressive development of chiral organocatalysts in recent years, the design, synthesis of new organoligands, the determination of new application areas or further development of the current results is one of the most important areas of researchers. For proper practical application of the organoligands it is important that they can be prepared from simple and easily accessible starting materials. In this work, chiral thioureas having a quinazoline skeleton were synthesized from readily available chiral amino acids. The antiproliferative activity of chiral thioureas on the colon (HT-29) and berast carcinoma (MCF-7) cancer cell lines were investigated. On the other hand, the catalytic activities of the chiral thioureas in enantioselective addition of 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds to N-phenyl maleimides were also investigated.
