Researches on determination of effects of different sowing times on morphological, physyological characters, yield and yield components in some narbon vetch (Vicia narbonensis L.) cultivars

This research was conducted in 2015 – 2016, 2016 – 2017, 2017 – 2018 growing seasons at Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University, Faculty of Agriculture, Field Crops Department, Research and Experimental Area for determine effects of different sowing times (November, December, January, February) on morphological, physiological characters, yield and yield components on some narbon vetch (Vicia narbonensis L.) cultivars (Dikili, Bozdağ, Özgen). According to the results of the study, the characters were determined as follows; plant height 37,97-87,22 cm, natural plant height 35,22-83,40 cm, leaflet width 24,58-36,42 mm, leaflet length 40,36-59,88 mm, main stem height 26,52-37,56 cm, main stem diameter 5,38-8,42 mm, number of branch per plant 1,11-4,33 pcs., days to flowering 82,00-151,00 days, leaf/plant ratio 54,40-63,87 %, number of leaves per plant 15,33-47,33 pcs., fresh forage yield 933,33-3800,00 kg/da, dry matter yield 185,67-832,67 kg/da, crude protein ratio 11,38-20,69 %, crude protein yield 22,25-109,22 kg/da, crude cellulose ratio 17,80-23,60 %, crude ash ratio 6,40-8,95 %, NDF 40,00-44,35 %, ADF 28,80-31,60 %, ADL 8,00-9,95 %, relative feed value 135,03-154,72 %, nitrogen 1,82-3,31 %, phosphorus 0,29-0,39 %, potassium 1,59-2,76 %, calcium 0,66-1,31 %, magnesium 0,19-0,43 %, copper 16,97-21,83 ppm, zinc 17,35-43,73 ppm, manganese 50,03-84,75 ppm, iron 103-266 ppm, number of pods per plant 8,57-19,83 pcs., 1000 seed weight 203,67-309,87 g, seed yield 100,00-181,23 kg/da, chlorophyll content 44,47-58,63 %, stoma number 41,00-80,33 pcs., stomatal width in leaflet 4,98-7,47 µm, stomatal length in leaflet 9,33-15,56 µm, stoma conductivity in leaves 80,63-138,30 mmol m-2s-1, canopy temperature 15,50-19,92 °C, leaf water loss rate 22,92-30,81, relative water content 55,53-75,03 %.
