Abstract (EN)

In this study, we aimed that determine mineral substance content and antioxidant, antimicrobial and DNA damage protection activities of Tricholoma terreum and Coprinus micaceus ethanol extracts. The free radical scavenging activity was determined by the DPPH method and Rel Assay Diagnostics Kits (TAS, TOS). Antimicrobial activity was studied with minimum inhibition method (MIC) with 5 different bacteria species (Enterocossus faecalis 29213, Klebsiella pneumoniae 700603, Pseudomonas aeruginosa 27853, Escherichia coli 35218 ve Staphyloccus aureus 28213). Plasmid pBR322 (vivantis) was used to determine protection activity of extracts against oxidative and UV-C induced DNA damage. Mineral substance content of fungi was analysed according to wet decomposition method by atomic absorption spectrometry (ASS). As a result of this study, the ethanol extracts showed low antioxidant activity. Extracts were found to possess antimicrobial activity against some of the bacteria tested. DNA damage protection activity of the extracts was not fond.
