Abstract (EN)

Corn (Zea mays L.) plant, which is in the first place in terms of production in the world, is in the third place after wheat and barley in our country. In our country, it is a product that is considered versatile in terms of feed, consumption and industrial use. The study was carried out in the conditions of Akşehir district of Konya province in 2018 according to the divided plots trial design with three replications. Varieties were placed on the main plots and fertilizer applications were placed on the sub plots. In the experiment, six hybrid grain dent corn varieties were used. In fertilizer application, control (C), 200 cc humic acid (HA) per decare, 400 cc vermicompost (VC) and 600 cc decares in addition to control humic ait and vermicompost (HA+VC) were used. In the study; plant height (cm), cob height (cm), cob weight (g), number of cob rows (number), number of grains in row (number), number of grains in the cob (number), grain weight (g), cob length (cm), cob diameter (mm), thousand grain weight (g), hectoliter weight (kg), protein ratio (%) and ash ratio (%) parameters were investigated. As a result of the analysis of variance, significant differences were found in the analyzed parameters at 1% and 5% significance levels. On the other hand, while there was a significant difference only between cultivars in the no. of cob row parameter (p<0.01), a significant difference was determined between the fertilizer doses only in the ash ratio parameter (p<0.01). While Pioner 0937 and LG 30692 varieties stand out, HA+VC application stands out in terms of fertilizer applications. In the parameters examined, yield increased by 13% in HA+VC application, LG30500 and HA+SG applications in terms of protein ratio and Pioner 0573 variety and HA+VC application in hectoliter weight took the lead.
