Abstract (EN)
In this study; It was aimed to determine the effect of nanoparticles on morphological characters in bare-rooted 2+0 aged Scots pine saplings. Field trial in the study; Measurements were carried out in four different, Iron Oxide (Fe₃O₄), Copper Oxide (CuO), Zinc Oxide (ZnO) and Titanium Oxide (TiO2), nanoparticle types, at three different doses and as controls. Nanoparticle solutions were prepared in the laboratory and applied to the root zone of the seedlings in the field before planting. In the study, all morphological measurements of the seedlings were carried out during the vegetation period. Nanoparticle applications in Scots pine saplings in the field environment compared to the control group created a positive difference in terms of morphological characters. The survival rate of the TiO2 group seedlings was 95%, and the survival rate of the control group seedlings was 61%. NP varieties and doses had a statistically significant effect on variables such as seedling height, root collar diameter, seedling fresh and dry weights, ratio of seedling height to root collar diameter, ratio of shoot to root dry weight. As a result of this thesis, it was concluded that nanoparticles can increase the quality of saplings in the production of Scots pine saplings and increase the adaptation ability and seedling development in afforestation studies with Scots pine.
