Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, it is aimed to investigate the effects of various nuclear reaction models and parameters on the results of cross-section calculations in the case of using various nuclear reaction models and parameters in the (p,n) reactions of some isotopes of lanthanide group cerium, praseodymium, evropium, gadolinium and erbium elements. In accordance with the motivation of the study, the ALICE/ASH and PCROSS codes, which also have the capability to calculate the cross-section value, were used to perform the cross-section calculations. In the ALICE/ASH code, the Weisskopf-Ewing model is used for the equilibrium process, while Hybrid and Geometry Dependent Hybrid models are used for the pre-equilibrium process. In the calculations using the PCROSS code, the equilibrium process was analysed using the Weisskopf-Ewing model, while the pre-equilibrium process was analysed using the Full Exciton model. Within the scope of this thesis, it is also aimed to investigate how the results of the cross-section calculation are affected by the change of the mean free path parameter. In this context, cross-section calculations were repeated for the cases where the COST parameter in ALICE/ASH code and the kmfp parameter in PCROSS code take different values. The calculation results were graphed together with the experimental data available in the literature, thus enabling a visual analysis. With the findings obtained; it is understood that the use of different nuclear reaction models and parameter values, for each reaction analyzed within the scope of this thesis study, changes the results of cross-section calculations at different rates.
