Abstract (EN)

This research was studied on Oreochromis niloticus and Oreochromis aureus species in Çukurova University Fisheries Faculty Fresh Water Fishes Research and Production station in 1998. The experiment was established and analyzed hierarchal design and herilabilily of body weight, total lenght, standart lenght with standart errors were found 0.41İ0.42, 0.44+0.43, 0.4110.42, 0.41±0.45, 0.60±0.66, 0.3310.37 for sires of 60 days old 1038 Oreochromis niloticus and 881 Oreochromis aureus respectively; 0.24+0.23, 0.43+0.37, 0.28+0.30, 0.35+0.36, 0.14±0.30, 0.13±0.30 for 90 days old 610 Oreochromis niloticus and 478 Oreochromis aureus respectively; herilabilily of body weight, total lenght, standart lenght, body height, caudal tail height, head lenght with standart errors were found 0.15±0.20, 0.33±0.29, 0.2610.26, 0.34+0.31, 0.1 1±0. 17, 0.42±0.44 for sires of 120 days old 600 Oreochromis niloticus respectively; 0.2610.41, 0.5010.53, 0.36+D.46, 0.4310.49, 0.2310.29, 0.2110.36, 0.2810.25, 0.2510.39, 0.2110.35, 0.010.08, 0.0510.11, 0.0KU1 for 150 days old 541 Oreochromis niloticus and 446 Oreochromis aureus, respectively. Key words: Herilabilily, Oreochromis niloticus, Oreochromis aureus.
