Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out in the laboratory and pot conditions of Faculty of Agriculture at Uşak University between 2018-2020. Thirty genoitp was used in the experiment, 13 of which were cultivars and 17 of which were local material obtained from different provinces and districts. The laboratory (r = 4) and pot trials (r = 3) were established according to the randomized plot trial design. Potting experiment conducted in open area. In the material collected, seed vigour (Electrical Conductivity (EC), Germination Rate (GR), Mean Germination Time (MGT), Plowing Rate (PR), Mean Plowing Time (MPT)), physical (Seed Diameter (SD), Seed Moisture Content (SMC)), Seed Unit Volume Weight (SUVW), Seed Coat Ratio (SCR), Water Intake Index (WCI), One hundred Seed Weight (OSW)) and quality characteristics (Cooking Time (CT), Crude Protein Rate (CPR), Amylose rate (AR)) findings were evaluated over the averages that were not analyzed for variance. Variance analysis was performed in some morphological features and in case of differentiation, Duncan multiple comparison was made. Morphological and molecular analyzes revealed genotypes clustered and relationship status revealed. The main component analysis has been made in some morphological features. In the first main component, the plant type and leaflet number, in the second main component the flower color and seed shape, in the third main component the leaflet number and plant type and in the fourth main component the black spot in seed were at the highest degree. According to the investigated local materials are grouped separately according to the registered varieties. In nine of the traits examined (Plant Height, Leaflet Number, Stoma Number, GR, MGT, PR, EC, SCR, CT), registered local genotypes gave the best value while giving the best value in both. SPSS23 package program was used for statistical analysis. Keywords: Chickpea, Cicer arietinum L., Morphological, Molecular, Characterization, Quality, Technological properties
