Abstract (EN)
In this study, the effects of the living conditions on the understanding of the art of the period were analyzed by giving an overview of the Absurd Theatre. In the second chapter of the study, Samuel Beckett's life, who is the founder of the concepts of lack of communication, inaction, and alienation that were determined by the theorists as the characteristics of the Absurd theater, was examined. In the rest of the study, Beckett's play called ''Endgame'' was discussed based on the examinations of these concepts.
