Abstract (EN)

This study aims to examine the relationship between individuals' perceived organizational support and leisure motivation, as well as the impact of various demographic factors on these variables. The sample consists of a total of 372 individuals from different age groups, income levels, and work environments. A quantitative approach was adopted in the study, and data were collected using the "Perceived Organizational Support Scale" and the "Leisure Motivation Scale." The data were analyzed using independent samples t-test, One-Way ANOVA, and Spearman correlation analysis. The findings revealed that women perceived significantly higher organizational support compared to men (p = 0.007). Regarding income levels, individuals in the lower income group perceived higher organizational support (p = 0.018), while marital status did not have a significant impact on this perception (p = 0.569). In terms of leisure motivation, individuals aged 26-30 exhibited higher levels of motivation compared to other age groups (p < 0.001). Moreover, an increase in weekly leisure activity participation was significantly associated with a higher level of perceived organizational support (p < 0.001). The analysis of preferred activity types indicated that individuals who preferred sports activities had higher perceptions of organizational support compared to those who preferred other activity types (p < 0.001). The correlation analysis showed a weak but significant positive relationship between perceived organizational support and leisure motivation (rho = 0.180, p < 0.001). In conclusion, the perception of organizational support was found to be influenced by variables such as income level, gender, and preferred activity types, while leisure motivation varied according to age groups. These findings provide an important framework for understanding how individuals' leisure activities and perceptions of organizational support are influenced by work environments and social factors. The results of the study offer practical implications for better understanding individuals' motivational and support needs and for designing supportive social environments.
