Investigation of the connection among mobbing perceptions and extracurricular sport activity and organizational commitment level of physical education and sports teachers

The primary target of this study is to examine the relationship between the perception of intimidation of Physical Education and Sports Teachers and the level of sportive activity and organizational commitment. Another aim is to determine the attitudes of intimidation and dependence types and to determine whether mobbing perceptions and organizational commitment differ in terms of demographic characteristics. The sample was composed of Physical Education and Sports Teachers who work in the townships of Tuşba, İpekyolu and Edremit. In order to reach the objectives of the study, necessary data were obtained by using the Anger Scale (NAQ) and the organizational commitment scale. The total scores of the scales were calculated separately before the data analysis process. In the data analysis process, descriptive analyzes, frequency and percentage distributions were performed via SPSS version 23.0. In the following period, the Kolmogorov "Smirnov test, which is one of the normality tests, was used for the distribution of data. Mann-Whitney U test was used for two independent groups and Kruskal-Wallis test was used for independent groups with more than two groups. When the findings of the study were examined, a significant difference was found in mobbing perceptions in terms of the extracurricular task (extracurricular sport activity) variable. At the same time, when the parameter of the correlation between teachers' organizational commitment and mobbing perceptions are examined, it is seen that there is a significant connection among the relationship coefficients obtained.
