Abstract (EN)

This thesis involves two monomer which has different groups and a peptide which provides selective adhesion of brain cells. One of the monomers has a fluorescent amino acid (RD) and the other has a free amino group (RF) as a functional group. These two monomers were deposited by electrochemical polymerization on indium tin oxide modified glass (ITO) surfaces. After the surfaces were coated with the copolymer, arginylglycineaspartic acid (RGD) was covalently bound to the amino group-containing surface from the carboxyl groups via 1-ethyl-3- (3-dimethylaminopropyl) carbodiimide (EDC). The prepared selective surface was used as an adhesion platform for an integrin avb3 receptor positive cell line, Glioblastoma (U87-MG). Human keratinocytes (HaCaT) cells were selected as the control group. Electrochemical and microscopic techniques were used to analyzed the modification of the surface with the copolymer and RGD. As a result, the designed P (RF-co-RD) / RGD platform allows for electrochemical detection of 10 to 104 cells / mL of U87-MG cells. Also, fluorescence imaging of cells could be performed without the need for an additional staining procedure. In this context, a selective surface that allows both electrochemical and fluorescence imaging were successfully accomplished.
