Thesis)Esra PerGAZİ UNIVERSITYINSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYOctober 2006ABSTRACTThis study is comprised of results, which are based on observationsfrom 20 different count points in Inozu Valley of Beypazari district ofAnkara province and was carried out between the dates April the 5th -June the 30th 2006. This study aims to find out about the breeding andpassage migrant bird species during the spring migration in InozuValley and to point out the bird diversity at the count points. In thiscontext habitat preferences of the birds are indicated by identificationof the habitat types which are detected around the count points.Breeding behaviours of the birds are also classified. Each breeding birdin the study area is classified by a breeding code between 1-16.According to the research carried out in the field 91 species of birdsfrom 30 families of 10 orders are recorded. 7 species of them aremigrant species while 84 are breeding. 28 species from 12 families arenon-passarines (nonpasseriformes) while other 63 species from 18families are passerines (passeriformes).Science Code : 203.1.032Key Words : Inozu valley, breeding bird, passerine, habitatPage Number : 83Adviser : Prof. Dr. Metin Aktaş
