Abstract (EN)

In this study; information technologies and hospital information systems are explained and it is aimed to determine the level of usage of hospital information systems by health workers. For the purpose of this study, a questionnaire form was conducted for the health care workers working in the hospitals of our participants in Iskenderun District. In the survey study, a questionnaire consisting of personal and demographic characteristics of the participants, whether they have been trained on information systems, using information systems, proficiency in information technologies, using information systems in hospital information management systems, task performances and benefits of using hospital information systems were applied to 250 health employees. In the evaluation stage of the data obtained from the surveys; averages, frequencies, percentages and standard deviations were determined and also regression and correlation analyzes were performed by means of computer program.. As a result of the research; health workers believe that hospital information systems and information technologies are important and useful, they are often trained in information systems in the form of in-service training with formal education, and they consider themselves unstable about whether they are sufficient in the use of information systems and information technologies.
