E-life possibilities within the process of transformation into knowledge society and a survey on the necessity of the e-government

Terms such as information age, information society, informationtechnology and information superhighway are used very often in our dailylife. This is mainly due to the fact that the importance of information foreconomic and social development is continually increasing and deeplyaffecting the way we conduct business. Todays news technologies, offer atremendous opportunity for governments to render public services, moresophisticatedly in interraction with citizens, business environment and othergovernment bodies.Focusing on the electronic government approach and model causedby this new service, we tried to examine this approach in three differentsections that are information society, electronic life and electronicgovernment in their order. This kind of approach is useful for the descriptionof the society we live in and for the development of strategies for the futureas well as the development of new points of view. In addition to this,electronic life possibilities brought to life by information and communicationtecnologies emphasizes the importance of the new governmentunderstanding in a better way by bringing to life the neccessary conditionsand basic needs.In conculision, we made some proposes for the application ofelectronic government system by putting forward the outcome of research,information, communication usage rates and characteristics of T.R.N.C
