The investigation of semantic learning environments for knowledge management

Many developments in the internet in recent years and the resultant semantic web approach have been a big influence on e-learning applications. Nowadays learning-oriented, adaptable, personal able intelligent learning environments are needed. In order to meet this need, various targeted studies are being carried out within semantic web technologies consisting of artificial intelligence, adaptive multimedia, software and ontology engineering. The Semantic web is an extension of the current Web that will allow you to find, share, and combine information more easily. In this thesis study, the general structure of the new generation semantic learning systems and web based intelligent e-learning, metadata and e-learning environments, cooperative semantic e-learning, semantic super conscious learning and cloud based learning environments are presented in detail in seminar web application. And the advantages and disadvantages of the learning environments there have been investigated. As a result, it has been evaluated that the semantic Web-based learning process is more effective and efficient. With the use of intelligent teaching systems that use semantic web technologies that can use artificial intelligence technologies, new possibilities in the field of education are unavoidable. It is obvious that some of the shortcomings that may arise in the systems using traditional teaching methods today will come from semantic learning environments prepared only by using semantic web technologies. The semantic e-learning environment offers learners the opportunity to create a flexible and innovative environment with mental and reusable learning objects in general, self-direction and adaptation based on the behaviors of learners.
