Abstract (EN)
This research was conducted using the relational screening model to examine the relationship between mindfulness, experiential avoidance, and perceived stress and compulsive online buying. 450 people between the ages of 18-55 participated in the study. Sociodemographic Information Form, Conscious Awareness Scale, Acceptance and Action Form-II, Perceived Stress Scale, Compulsive Online Purchasing Scale were presented to the participants in order to collect data online. The data were analyzed with SPSS 16.0 program. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that compulsive online buying behavior was significantly higher in women, unemployed, university graduates and married people compared to the comparison groups. It has been determined that individuals in the 18-29 age group have more compulsive online purchasing behavior, but compulsive online purchasing behavior does not differ according to the household income variable. However, there is a positive relationship between compulsive online buying behavior and perceived stress and experiential avoidance, and a negative relationship with mindfulness. It has been determined that experiential avoidance is a risk factor in terms of compulsive online buying behavior, and the level of mindfulness has a negative and significant predictive effect. The findings were discussed in line with the hypotheses, and the results and suggestions were presented.
