Abstract (EN)

Depending on the height of the building, the number of basement floors increases. As the excavation soil needs to be removed for the construction of basements and basements, the most widely preferred safe excavation method is the pile system. With the completion of the pile piles around the building area, the deep construction of the building starts from the base level. In this stage, due to the fact that the excavation area forms a pool environment, the basement floors, which are built without windows in a possible flood disaster, are at risk of floating. The designer who targets the completed building weight does not usually pay attention to this risk in the construction process. During the construction of windowless basements, the buoyancy of the water is likely to be greater than the building weight. The designer can easily determine the dimensions of certain structural elements in the framework of simple physics rules for the design stage. However, as the designer thinks that the completed weight of the building will easily pass the buoyancy of the water, he overlooks the possibility that water can remove the building during the construction of the building. In the past, there have been swimming problems and therefore damaged buildings. For this situation, which is seen as unimportant, it is foreseen in the coastal port buildings according to the national specifications and regulations. In this study, the risk of floating in basement floors during construction is determined in Excel. The examples examined show that the program gives reasonable results. The accuracy of the building weights adopted in the program is improved as the number of project data increases. By using the program prepared in this study, it is essential to perform floating control with definite design after determining the situation of encounter with swimming risk at the preliminary design stage.
