Biochemical comparative study for lipid profile and atherogenic index in type 2 diabetic patients with hyperuricemia

This thesis relasionship between uric acid level with atherogenic index in DM patients. Participants Between December 2021 and February 2021, we had a total of 100 participants in the research age of subject divided into four groups. the mean average of our study represents in (39.11±6.27, 42.7±5.88, 33.53±3.92, 26.03 ±3.88). when we study the gender distribution that female have a large precentage in studied group as compared to male frequencey. The study's participants had an average (SD) these rresult shown a mean of DM duration was 6.3 ±5.8years. Hypertension was present in 65% of the participants, with a mean blood pressure of 140/78 mmHg (20.8mmHg) these two factors may influence hyperuricemia and diabetes in the remaining 25% of patients lso a DM with hyperureciam affacted by BMI there is A mean and SD (28.11± 3.91. Approximately one in three research participants developed hyperuricemia. The average serum uric acid content was 2.99 mol/L (5.02 mg/dL) (SD). The mean (SD) HbA1c was 7.76%, showing good glycemic management. Diabetes patients showed higher LDL-C and AIP than non-diabetics.
